4th gen heater control replacement
the Hot/Cold adjuster know on my accord broke off. I am not really sure why, but it did.
anyone have tips on how to get it out of there? I am guessing I will have to pull the console and remove the stereo to get at it. I am thinking most of the dash will have to come out to.
anyone have to do this?

most often just the **** itself breaks and is an easy swap. If the metal post that the **** pushes onto is broken off you have to remove the black dash trim, dash air vents & coin tray (to access hidden screws) , stereo, center console/cupholder to get to the climate control.

yup, this is why most of the screws are out of mine so it is an easy task for me, chances are though that the plastic piece that holds the heater wire i guess u would call it (like a brake wire for a bicycle) broke so turning the **** doesnt push/pull the wire any longer, easy fix but pita to get to...
