Where is the adjustment, and How do I go about doing it? My F'in book doesn't say anything about adjustment...just removal and installation.

where exactly is the jamb nut located, on the steering rack itself on the subframe, or inside the car where it meets the steering linkage to the steering column???

it's on the left rear side of the rack use a set of channel locks and a 14mm wrenchleft for the cap nut
and right to tight the steering and left to loose the rack do a little at a time not much adjusting needed
