Konis w/ Camber plates project is done
I put them in the car on March 5, but I finally got around to doing the alignment on it last friday. I played around as much as I could, just to see what kind of alignment angles I could theoretically get into the car because I know some people were curious what could be done with something like this rigged up and I was impressed with what I could come up with. In the front, with the plates kicked all the way in and the screws as far outside as I could get them, I got a little over -3 degrees. The problem is I don't think the tie rods had that much travel in them. I played with those some too, I think about -2.7 or -2.8 is about as far as the tie rods would let me go. I guess if you ground some off the inner shoulder of the tie rod end, or maybe RSX ones are shorter or something, you could get more travel, but I was content with the adjustment I got with stock hardware. I settled on -2.25 in the front with 0 toe. In the rear, I picked up a set of Hotchkis links and had them to about -4 just as a test of range, but set them at -1.6. Overall, the car runs very neutral right now.... took it autocrossing yesterday, the rear end will hang out and stay put, a kick of the gas sets it straight again, seems perfect right now, but a track day next sunday will reveal more.
Some pictures from the install and alignment:

Whole setup, and hopefully the 3rd time is the charm....
Koni Yellows
Custom Ground Controls - 375 lb-in front, 525 lb-in rear and 1" longer than standard
Tein DC5R Camber Plates
Custom Front Upper Mounts and hardware
Hotchkis RSX Rear Camber Links
Comptech RSX 22mm Rear Swaybar
Stock 25.4 mm Front Sway bar
DIY Chrome moly (4140 Alloy) Rear tie bar
Cusco Upper Rear and Neuspeed Upper Front Bars
-2.25 F, -1.6 Rear, 0 toe
The orange wheels are my AutoX/Track wheels, I do alignments with them because theyre kinda the ones that matter, and they've got a square lip for the gauge to grab onto.
The suspension itself ran me a little over $1100 in parts, You can probably knock off about $80 worth of OEM parts if you have them available when you start.
PS- There's a thread archived about the building of this, I tried just adding on, but it won't let me post to an archived thread.
