What Parachute are you guys using in T4/SPFWD?
This is the only one I could find that looks like its not overkill for my little honda.

jk, really what it comes down to is that you have 2 options. First, a lot of the kits you straight have to weld the mounting frame to the car. Simpson makes a rig where you can remove it if you're driving on the street, and you can bolt it back on if you take your car to the track. That's the best one for SFWD if you ask me.

Yep. I want something I can remove for the street although it would be pretty cool to drive down the street with a parachute just for peoples reactions.
thanks
Any other opinions will be nice so keep'm coming.
LOL! three years ago all I wanted was a 12 second car.

how soon do you need one Cort. Deist is working with us to do some test fitment with their new Sport Compact line. I'll see if I can get you one.
Theyre 2 miles from our shop and we have couple test motors to test fit their new blankets and they wanted to bring me the new parachutes in a couple weeks.

Beware that the Diest chute takes about 15-20 mins to pack, cause of all the rubber bands you have to run the cord through.

Most don't pull it anyway, it just needs to be there for 150+.

In NDRA it's a rule if you hit 150 on your run you have to pull the chute. I don't agree with it but, it's the rules.
I haven't pulled the Stroud chute on our car yet but, it's the easiest to repack.
Also the Diest chute hits really hard.

A friend had a Diest chute on his car that I helped run, that thing was a BITCH to pack and it did tug very, very hard. Didn't like it at all. I run a Stroud chute on my car, and I've only made some test passes at low boost to get used to it, but I packed the chute to test it out and it was much easier. I have a Wolfe Racecraft chute, it replaces your whole stock rear bumper, and sticks out through the bumper cover.

There's the pic from their site. It's easily removeable with just a bolt, and you just get the nub sticking out of the bumper. I personally just leave the chute on, I think it looks pretty intimidating going on cruises

Cunha just got a Stroud on his car and it looks pretty simple to pack. Well see how it hits when u pull it. So in NDRA its a must to pull the chute on a 150+ pass.
Deist. I will post a couple pics up tonight when I get home of my removable set up for the hatchback. I think it came out sweeeet.

simpson is pretty easy...I packed them before. When I was with Tywash, we never pack the chute ever before, I asked greek from efantis team to showed me, I did it first time out.
I am not sure about deist or stroud. Who needs parachute anyway, just run fast-turbo sticker and you'll be fine hahaha LOL HAHHA
