Default unorthodox racing underdrive pulleys

Hello everybody I thinking of purchaseing the ultra ss set from unorthdox racing and install it on my 1992 Gs integra but is worth the money to purchase it? Meaning wil I gain any hp? My car is daily driven and hopefully one day turbo charge Thanks for any suggestions or advise

Well, let me tell you why I will never buy U/D pulleys. I've heard talk from several places (including endyne) that these can be extremely detremental to your motor in the long run. Here is why; On most cars, the U/D pulley acts as a your harmonic balancer/ dampner/whatever you wanna call it. It absorbs vibration and shock transmitted from your bottom end. When you take this part away, your engine is in danger of litteraly shaking itself to pieces. No this won't happen in a day or week or month. Eventually though, it should happen, and it might not be fun to rebuild when you have a crack or so in most of your major internal parts. Some cars however, the U/D pulley does not function as a vibration dampening device, ie; ford zetec. To me though, this is just not a risk worth taking.
