Default Rough/Changing Idle

Hey guys,

i've got a 96 accord lx with the f22 non-vtec motor 5speed. I recently replace the valve cover gasket and the spark plug seals. The Plugs and wires and my idle is still kinda rough. I've also had the timing belt replace and that had no effect.

Its sorta difficult to explain, but its like a really bad miss but i cant figure out why. Plugs wires and i've pulled the plugs and checked them out it doesnt look like theres any oil getting in there anymore and there not all burnt up and have any blemishes.

Now it only does this at random times, i can stop at a stop light idles around 800 fine, next light idles at about 600 fine, next light its idling around 800 and missing enough i can feel it through the seats and floorboards pretty strongly. any ideas on what else i should check out, i ran seafoam thru the crankcase just before i did my last oil change as well, it didnt do much.

If anybodys got an idea i'd appriciate it thanks.

Mike

I'VE A '96 ACCORD LX (132,268 MILES IN F22B2), I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, THE CAR USED TO IDLE STEADY AT 700rpms FEW SECOND THEN IT WOULD GET ROUGH IT WOULD ALMOST DROP TO ZERO WHERE THE CAR WANTED TO DIE SO.... I HAD MY MECH. CHANGE THE TIMING BELT AND ADJUST MY VALVES........I REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES, DID THE SEAFOAM THRU MY PCV VALVE. KINDA SOLVE THE PROBLM.. NOW IT IDLES BUT NOW THE IDLE GOES UP TO 1500 RPMS.. TRY TO ADJUST THE IDLING WITH NO SUCCESS AT ALL.....DOES THE ECU MANAGES THE IDLE OR COULD I HAVE A BAD THROTTLE BODY OR TPS.........ANY IDEAS?
