Default Radiator fan...

Hey guys, I didn't have a radiator fan on my car since I bought it, and a few days ago I got offered a dual radiator fan for $100. My question is this...what are the harms of not having a radiator fan? Can anything go seriously wrong with my car if I do not have one? Also, what are the benefits of having a radiator fan? Thanks for any help guys.

You won't have air flowing through your radiator when your car is at a stop and risk overheating. Get a radiator fan.

That's the thing though, I never had any overheating problems. But like they say, it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks.

if you ever get stuck in traffic, you'll spend a lot more than $100 on repairs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but we have 2 fans?? One is for the AC and the other is to pull air for cooling. So really you only need one fan

Since I don't have AC, you are correct I only need one fan. But $100 for the dual fan is a damn good price. The suggested retail is over $300, so I decided why not?
