Swapping suspension on ep3 and axles won't go back in
Ok this is just plain retarded. After unbolting the struts from the knuckle, they fall forward an inch or two ultimately pulling the bearings out of the inner CV joint. I have tried to rotate and push them back into the CV but they will not give and will not go in for ****. I tried this for an hour with no result. What the hell am I doing wrong and what should I do? THis has me so pissed at this car right now I can't even see straight.
you will most likely have to remove the large CV boot clip and reinstall the three bearings by hand
prepare to get very dirty

Damn, yea that is what I thought I would have to do, but was hoping there was another way around that. I swear this car is cursed.
This is a known problem. Do a search on ep3hatch.com as I think someone did a good writeup about it. Happened to me and I was able to get the axle back in after about an hour and I didn't need to disassemble/reassemble anything.
Next time the axle popped out, it only took me 5 minutes to get it back in. Frustrating, but there is a technique.

I mean, it's really hard to tell you how to put axle back in to the place.
I just went through this 2 days ago
Just spin the hub slowly and push the assembly, then just went into the place after about 30-45 mins
I also called acura and they told me the same thing..
In the worst case, you take out cv boot clip and go from there.
I think boot only cost $5 to 10 , but will be bitch to put back together.
Best of luck to you.
