Does anyone have this yet for their 05-S? Or 02-04. I'm looking for a dyno graph of before and after. My car won't have more than Intake and header, until Hondata comes out with the reflash/kpro.

I won't get the race header because I need to pass NYS inspection, nor do I want to deal with fooling the CEL.

 

Yeah--I have it. It's a nice piece. No before/after dyno, though.

I do have Hondata #4 with a icebox and this header definitely made the lower vtec xover a lot less "unsmooth" (not as much of a dip in power), and it seemed to add both torque and topend power.

Plus, no annoying CEL or DC RaceHeader banging into the swaybar.

 

Thank you for your reply. I see you have the icebox and thats the way I would like to go as well. I too don't want to deal with swaybars being hit, and header getting cracked and a CEL for a few hp.

I just wanted to make sure it was doing something. I know comptech makes good stuff. I had the header on my GSR and it had nice gains. Looks like I will have to get this first before my icebox since the 05 is still in production

Would you happen to know if the STOCK manifolds on the S are the same from 04-05? Seeing as aftermarket headers fit both 04-05 I would think they are the same but are they the same internally or is the 05 redesigned with the rest of the exahust system?

 

they are the same from 02-05. the comptech shorty header will work with no problems. if you dont believe me check out their site, all exhaust components are the same and marked 02-05. they also note in there that the 05 supercharger is currently in development.
