Default Trouble shoot a noise: steering/suspension related

I recently got into an accident...hit a pole dead in the center of the front of my car...kinda funny how perfectly center it was, my license plate was bent perfectly in half...everything from AC condensor up is replaced...long story short, after I get my car back from the shop, I hear this weird clicking noise. I figure it's my CV boots, so I go and have my axles changed, yes both of them. (Passenger one was busted pretty bad and driver's side was starting). Anyhow, after I replaced them, I still had this noise. Basically, it only happens when I make a right turn, it sounds kinda like a clicking noise (something plastic is rubbing up against something metal I think). When I accelerate through the turn, the ticking speeds up and gets a little louder, generally speaking, the noise more profound the sharper the turn is. The noise seems to be coming from right underneath the car near the center, underneath rear center console a tiny bit towards the driver's side. Anyone know what it would be or would one have to test drive it to find out exactly what it is? I have a mechanically inclined friend who can't figure it out...but if need be, he could replace the universal joint, steering rack, and whatever other components that might need to be swapped. TIA.

Forgot to say the steering rack seems a little loose and I also had the tranny replaced...all motor mounts look fine.

hmm...the only thing that comes to mind is, clicking only usually comes from a bad axle

Drove it again today and it seems as though it isn't getting any better...don't know if it's subconcious, but actually seems like it's getting just a tiny bit worse...

I am all too familiar with that clicking or knocking noise. It is for sure the CV Boots. My '89 Accord suffered from that. As soon as I thought it was fixed it would adventually act up again. Either you got a bad set or they didn't fix the problem.

It's not the CV boots for sure...I replaced both axles and both were new (well, remanufactured anyways). When I turn, there is an actual physical vibration under the car which all the occupants of the car are able to feel as well as hear.
