i'm using a b16a3 with obd2 Ex harness and i just took my obd1 dizzy completly apart and rebuilt it with the obd 2 dizzy stuff...time consuming but it looks stock and nothing is loose...if your car doesn't run after you do this then you have to rotate the dizzy 180 b/c it'll be firing on the #3 instead of 1..it works but good luck

why would one do that?...anyways, all you gotta do is pull out the pins of both dizzy plugs and re-insert the obd2 dizzy wires into the obd1 dizzy plugs. very simple.

You need to turn the rotor 180 degrees(flip it opposite) because even though the timing mark on the crankshaft indicates that cylinder #1 is at TDC, it doesn't mean that it is necessarily at the start of it's power stroke. It could be at the beginning of it's intake stroke, which would mean that the #3 cylinder is at the beginning of it's power stroke. So if the rotor is of exactly opposite(180 degrees off) of where it should be, then the spark will be trying to ignite nothing, so the car won't run. So you must turn it 180 degrees to get it where it needs to be.

you can resolder it but it be would alot cleaner and alot easier to do like i said and just pull the pins out.

You know, he is right about that. But i think the wiring configuration is a little different so you cant juss pull the pins out and plug them in where the colors match. My buddy did mine and he owns a shop. Took him a good hour but we were pretty drunk though.

only 2 wires can get mixed up cuz theyre both white...if it doesnt work one way then just switch the 2 white wires around.

That is certainly untrue. I'm not sure about all Honda distributors, but on an Accord the distributor can easily be put in with the rotor off by 180 degrees.
