Y8 air/fuel delivery upgrades
I'm about to swap a Y8, and the motor doesn't currenty have IM/fuel rail/injectors, so I figure why not go aftermarket. I've been looking into the Edelbrock IM, but haven't ruled out an OE Y8 IM. I don't know what injector/fuel rail combo to go with, suggestions???
yeah stock fuel rail and injectors should do fine.
You could go with the aftermarket IM if you wanted, i have heard good things about the Skunk 2 IM on NA cars, if you are planing on later going turbo i would get the Edelbrock though .
good luck dude

yes and no the manual has the idle air control valve on the back and the automatic just has a machined place for it to go. The IACV is up under the throttle body on the automatics. there could be different placement of a vacume line or something but i can't remember?
thats about the only and biggest difference i can think of
