b16 powerplant question

Default b16 powerplant question

im gettin a b16 in my 96 dx. i was wonder if my stock mounts fit from my dx. i know the rear bracket dont fit but do the others fit?

your ac bracket will not work, your side tranny mount will not work, the top tranny mount will the drivers top mount will work as long as it isnt a gsr block mount, and the t bracket in the back wont work either. make sure you get the swap complete with mounts.

so only 1 mounts will work? the b16 came from a 95 si hatch so can i use any of the mounts?

Get all the mounts from the b16, they should all work on your car. Or even better get hasport mounts

Use the 99-00 SI motor mounts since you have a 96 civic.
