ok after the winter months my car has finnaly been back together

we go to start her

nothing

cranks but nothing

spark yes
fuel pump isnt turning on and relay isnt clicking like its supposed to when the CEL goes off

car starts if we spray carb cleaner into the intake

last time it was driven after gassing up it would sparatically not start and then id have to wait a while and shed fire up


is my relay bad?

nope sounds like the culprit

 

i hope that fixes it i ordered one last night from a honda website and hopefully it fixes it so i can enjoy my work ive put into it over winter

 

Did that fix your problem

i think so. this is the problem i am working on with my friends integra. the CEL light turns off but doesnt start sometimes but i think that is because the ECU gets a signal from the fuelpump relay that it got power for a split second but has no way of actaully checking to see if the actual fuelpump is getting any power. i looked at teh schematic a few hours ago, i think thats how i remember it. i think the relay switch in my relay is gone bad

Have you pulled it out of it's housing and looked for cracked solder joints?
