Default Check Engine Light Question...Code 9

Hey i threw a code number 9 today on a 2000 SI. it says thats that cylinder position sensor. Is this in the distributor and can it be replaced without having to buy a new distributor. Any help would be appreciated.

its one of the sensors inside of the dizzy, you can swap the internals with a good distributor or you can just change out the whole dizzy
