Default Car struggles when starting.

Occasionally when I start my car, it'll struggle, like I'll have to pump the gas to get it to start. Once it gets started, it runs/drives fine. Any ideas what this could be? The car is a 1987 Accord LX bone stock, yeah it's the daily.

I would start with the cheapest alternative and find myself a nice bottle of carbuerator cleaner. See how that pans out.

And do I just put that in my gas tank? Sorry, I've only worked on Fuel Injected cars before, and I don't know much about the older style of fueling on older cars.

hmm i dont think you put it in your gas tank. i remember when i was working on an old yamaha bike i had to take off the carburator and spray and wipe it down. i dont know if they make stuff that u just put in your gas tank..

there are 2 types of carb cleaner the carb/fuel injector cleaner that you add to the gas or what you most likely need is carb/intake cleaner.

since spark plugs are cheap, I would clean the crap out of the carb (with engine running) and then change the plugs as they will most likely get fould.

The last option is dissassemble and rebuild the carb (depends upon how many billions of miles you have on your car)
