B16a feels sluggish??

recently had my civic serviced. when vtec engaged i shot backwards into my seat, awsome feel, the power was great. now a couple of weeks later when i engage vtec point i hardly feel much of a difference? what could be the cause of this??
want that vtec power back!

WTF? Tell Honda that, they set the engagement point so you can feel it. And it's a 1.6L, it doesn't have low end power.

dont get me wrong i can still feel the change when it kicks in, just not as much.
i just had a regular all round maintenance service ( oil, filters, plugs etc )
the thing varies a little everyday, could it just be the difference in climate??
live in South Africa, today can be 35 trow can be 24.
