B16a feels sluggish??

Default B16a feels sluggish??

howsit

recently had my civic serviced. when vtec engaged i shot backwards into my seat, awsome feel, the power was great. now a couple of weeks later when i engage vtec point i hardly feel much of a difference? what could be the cause of this??

want that vtec power back!

any help would be great, thanks

What did you have maintenanced on the car? Give us more insight on this. Are you getting any CEL? Can you hear the VTEC enguage?

if you feel vtec kick in then you need to have it tuned or something. that means you have no low end power.

WTF? Tell Honda that, they set the engagement point so you can feel it. And it's a 1.6L, it doesn't have low end power.

You sure your cat isn't clogged?

dont get me wrong i can still feel the change when it kicks in, just not as much.
i just had a regular all round maintenance service ( oil, filters, plugs etc )

the thing varies a little everyday, could it just be the difference in climate??
live in South Africa, today can be 35 trow can be 24.
