Rota Opinions.
Wow, I just found some Rota/Spoon imitations. They are crazy looks just like rotas but without the center caps. But they come in 17s! ... that sounds a little riced out, but I like the look of 17s on hatches. But I also love the JDM look.
So the question is. Would you get them? Or follow the trend of 15s and 16s, becuase I researched and found rotas in 17s too, but not alot of people have them. so this is just your opinion.

This thread could get ugly but I will reply by saying 17" wheels on most if not all cars is not functional at all....I would go with 16" wheels on a hatch.

he's not asking about rotas. he's asking about an imitation of a rota... which would be an imitation (wheel in question) of an imitation (rota slipstream) of an original wheel (spoon)...
rotas are already cheap enough, and come in 17s... so why go with an imitator of an imitator?!

I have 17s on my coupe, they're not Rotas. When my car was driveable (tranny went out, but now I'm doing a tranny swap). It wasn't that bad at all.
Although, I'm planning on getting some new Rotas in 15's with 195 tires, I want my car to be nice and low.
17s are nice, but they raise your car up too much and give it the "lifted" look. I just think they're too big. It's your car, if you like the 17s, get the 17s.

lol i'm a cheap bastard thats why i'm asking about this, they cost around 200 for 4.
well they are all the same. So I guess I'll just get some slipstream in 16s or something.

From a looks point of view, 17's are fine, but then you have to worry about rotational inertia and unspring weight and all that fun stuff. When I get my next set of wheels/tires I am going with a 16x7 with something in the neighborhood of 205/45/16 tires. To me that is the best compromise between looks and having a set of wheels and tires that will still perform well.
