Default Newly B00sted K20

My friend just got his setup finished up, and I wanted to post some video of the results. Hope you guys enjoy.

Me(boosted b18b) vs Him(boosted k20)

Him(boosted k20) vs Domestic Friends

His setup is listed in the video. All I can say is to Guardian E.I. for what it is.

First off great videos!

So what exactly is "Guardian"? I know what it is, sort of, as I had a friend running Guardian and now is running KPro. I have never got an exact answer from someone regarding this.

Well..I don't know too much, other than it is the most simple electrical EMS system for the k-series. Of course, I don't think its as great as K-pro, because it lacks the ability to control timing. But, basically from what I understand, the k-series motors come with a factory wideband sensor. The Guardian pretty much adjusts fuel based off of the factory wideband and keeps it in check. My friend has already hooked up a 2nd wideband and datalogged everything to see if the Guardian was truly doing what it was supposed to. And apparently, it does and keeps his A/F ratios inbetween 11-12.

Personally, I think he went with Guardian for its simplicty. It works great for the amount of boost he is running. However, in order to make his car reach its full potential, I personally think the timing has to be controlled. Which is why, I think the Guardian, although great for what it is, is still a bottle neck to what his car is capable of.

What turbo do you have in order to make 231hp @ 8psi? J/w because i wish I could have made that much on mine...Wait a minute, I have 1bar spring on my Tial WG so that low boost level is not going to happen...LOL!! Nice rides though.
