No, but running rich would cause your plugs to be black and your car to smoke.

u need to post info about the motor too so we can give u a better answer. but running rich will make your plugs black but too how old are the plugs

are you burning oil? Oil will turn your plugs black as well and give you smoke.

Yea im throwing a code for the o2 sensor and my plugs are black also..... But no smoke.... Anyone know how much o2 sensors run?

i just went to advanced auto and got a Boshe 4 wire universal o2. 5 year warranty $65
