i was just wondering, considering i just delt with a attempted theft that i can tell.....and if the R did get stolen what would the insuarnce company give me for the car? would they cover some of the mods to up to a certain dollar amount? i have all reciepts for the things that have been put on my car and pictures to back it up....and for the car what would they pay, what its worth by the book or how do they go about it?

i would call and ask the insurance company what would happen but that seems a little fishy and they will think im trying to get it stolen which im not

Calling them really is the best way to find out though. We're not the ones who'd reimburse you, they are. Each policy is different too. You're paying for a service and merely inquiring as to what exactly that service entails.

 

I got about $26000 for my R when it was totaled. It had about 10K miles on it and was stock.

 

yeah i guess ill give them a call up and see what they say.....damn onyx what is that canadian money? jk...how did u get 26 for it? did they just give you what you paid for it?

 

well thats good to know spooky that you got a pretty good amount out of it.....lets just hope mine doesnt get stolen cuz i would be pissed and sad at the same time....then i go find the people that stole it and burry them in some places that they would never be found again .....i geuss im going on night duty to make sure the people that tried yesterday dont come back for a second try....and now they have easier access without the window there

 

Some guy here in Seattle got $36,000 because his insurance company said that the R can't be replaced. He had Zeal B2's i believe. I was wondering if you needed to insure aftermarket parts..? Any of u guys know?
