UPDATE: Pics On page 2

Luckily it wasn't my ITR, but my dad's 97 EK was rear ended and totaled today. He was stopped at a stoplight and some kid ran into the back of him at 25mph. My dad's fine but the car's gone. It had a ITR swap/suspension/interior. We're definitely gonna keep it and either sell the parts or swap them onto another shell. We'll see what this guys insurance does. ****** punk was 16. If anyone comes across a cheap shell let me no-blown enigne prefered. Anyway it definitely ruined the day. Here's an old pic wuthout the CTR spoiler and some other stuff.

Another story that makes me wonder why the driving age isn't bumped up to 18 years of age .

What a bummer. What was the kid driving? His excuse? Tell your dad to watch out for soft tissue damage that he may start feeling in a few days or so.

Definitely not an April fools. He'll probably take some pics when he goes to the impound lot to meet the insurance adjuster on Monday. I might swing by tomorrow and take some pics of the carnage.

Yeah that REALLY SUCKS! Im hondarcb's dad. The once proud owner of that great little hatch. Man I loved that car! Believe it or not the kid that did me in was driving a white 96 Civic EX. Not much to look at, but at least had a header, intake & exhaust. Both his airbags deployed, busted his windshield, did some minor front end damage and busted his radiator. What really pissed me off was he never said a single word to me. Guess he was shook up. Got a ticket though - so there! (like that really helps ha ha).

Glad you're alright! Same for the kid, but yeah, he was probably shaken up. Was he wearing a seat belt? He may have had a good jarring.

Get another hatch!

Yeah he had a belt on. Just wasn't paying attention I guess. Should have seen the smoke rolling out of the car from the airbag. Never saw that before.
