Length of test pipe on Greddy 18G GSR with Thermal
?? tried to install it today with a 17.5in test pipe and didnt work - was roughly 3.5 inches off
apparently the thermal b-pipe is shorter than the OEM or Mugen b-pipe
HELP!!! and should i just go to a shop an have them fab me one on the spot?

also, my 98 GSR has two o2 bungs one in the front and one tilted in the back.
when i have ANOTHER test pipe made, should i keep both o2 locations. i am running a p28 ecu on hondata s200b and i dont want to throw a CEL.
if i shouldnt keep the rear, what do i do with it?
thanks, REALLY need some help

first of all if your using hondata, you only need 1 o2 sensor, the other o2 bung can be used for a wideband... because your using an obd1 ecu.
i doubt anyones going to know what the legnth of the test pipe should be. because of the combination of your downpipe and exhaust. just either measure it up yourself, or have one fabbed up to your specs needed.

i understand that since im OBD1 that i only NEED one o2 sensor. but is there a way to detatch the second o2 sensor so its not just hanging there? id rather just have a bung for it than have it hanging

the one in the back just does up from underneath the car, through a small opening - about dime or penny size
I believe Thermal makes their 3" exhaust for 2 door and 4 door models......they are different.
Just get an exhaust shop to fab up the extension you need or a new test pipe.

The 94-99 gsrs' b-pipes are about 3.5 inches longer than all the other 94-01 2 dr integras, so I'm assuming Thermal made sent you a LS application. The b-pipe for my 01 GSR is about 17-18 inches long.
Just buy all the parts you'll need and take it to a shop or a member/friend that has a chop saw and a welder. You'll need to flare the testpipe for it to bolt to the 3" flange the thermal has.
looks like i wil be having it extended tomorrow
so i will be okay with one o2 sensor on my obd1 p28 ecu
what do i do with the second one, i dont see anywhere to detach it. - could it just be zip tied out of the waY?

just unplug it, just follow the sensor wires, it should go through a small hole into the cabin w/ a rubber cover in the middle. Remove the rubber plug and unplug the sensor. You might want to keep it in a safe place just in case you need it down the road. good luck
so ill have to remove it from inside my car (cabin)?
while i was under the car, there was no way my fingers could get through the hole to unplug it
PICS PLEASE!!!!!!!!
