Well I picked up the NSX-R horn button the other day from AJ-Racing. At first I was very happy until I looked closer and saw that the red "H" on the button is a sticker.......if I recall correctly the NSX-R horn button is supposed to have a painted "H".....so I need you all to take a up close look for me to see if I got shafted. It did not come in a Honda package either.

It was just weird because why would Honda paint on the little black horn sign, and then use a sticker for the red "H". Just doesn't add up. So if u all could take a look for me that would be great. I don't want to get mad at AJ before I know for sure, but to me it appears that they stuck a sticker over the NSX type-S black "H" horn button. I will have pics

 

You didn't get shafted. It is a red sticker. I just sold my h0nk button to a friend.

 

Here is where it looks weird. The sticker doesn't fit properly so it sticks out and doesn't even fit flush in the groove made for the H.



See how the corner closest to the camera sticks out because it's not flush like the rest of the H???

Kinda odd.

Peel it off, and repaint the area with Milano Red Touchup paint.

are there two of them,, my steering wheel horn button for the nsx was already red.. ?? just curious if there are two colors.. never the less it still looks good

 

NSX Type S h0nk button has a black H. Sticker or paint?... I dunno.

NSX-R is obviously red H.

 

yeh i have the nsx r i guess,, dont know dont really care,, his looks just as good with the sticker..

 

i always thought the nsx-r horn button had rivets like this:



i never seen one in person and i wish i had one, so i'm guessing that the circular piece where the rivets are located is seperate and goes over the button. if so, does the complete horn button come with that piece when bought new?

i havnt takin the stickers off the actual horn button, but thats cause i like everything to look new as possible for as long as possible.

The horn button is more than the steering wheel I can tell you that.

The momo Corse is almost exactly the same as nsx-r wheel the horn button is over 200 CAD.

Hmmm.....I wonder if there is transparent tape over it.

Mine had the same thing as you described, and I have taken it off. There for sure, wasn't a red sticker below that, as mine now has a scratch in it, thanks to wear and tear.

200 cad is for the horn only. Its the first picture in this thread. That's all u get. The steering wheel is separate.
