A little OT: How long can a DA last?
Ok i'm about to purchase a 90 integra for $1000. It's in good shape, no rust, the guy is replacing a few things such as brakes and other little misc. parts. The guy has taken real good care of it, he's a friend of mine so i know how he treats his cars.
The only problem with the car is that it has 203,xxx miles on the chasis and around 150,xxx on the engine. My question to you guys is how long will a well taken care of DA last? Thanks for your time.

my first da had alot of rust, and the motor was burnin oil due to poor work-manship, on a local shops part. fixed the problems and swapped bodys and have been abusing the motor for 2 yrs and 45k miles and no problems yet

Basically itll last as long as you take the effort to maintain it. It might take more maintenance than lets say, a DC simply because its an older car. Suspension bushings (unless you replaced them already) will most definately have to be replaced, especially the rear trailing arm bushings, because I guarantee they are bad. Motorwise 150K isnt too bad, Ive got 178+ on mine and it still drives very strong, and if it blows, $200-300 will get you another LS motor.
FOREVER. nuff said.
My chassis has 215xxx miles and motor has 45xxx, so I'm sorta in the same boat. Basically, as long as the motor is in good condition, check for little things. Saggy doors (mine squeak!) and other defects that are coupled with time. Other than that, if it runs good and everything is straight, that's a damn good deal.
