f22 is the engine for stock usdm accords h22 are the engines found in jdm accords
f22 and h22 usually have another letter and number added to the end, the number and letter varies according to the model and year of the car

usdm= united states domestic market
jdm= japanese domestic market

F, H, B, C, K those are all engine codes, the number are the size of the engine.

F22 = F series, 2.2L
H22 = H Series, 2.2L
B18 = B Series, 1.8L
K24 = K -------, 2.4L

the number after that tells you which country the engine was designed for (for the purpose of emissions, and regulations)

i.e. H22A4 the A stands for the model of the specific engine, when a change is made to the engine the letter would change to be. Like the 4th gen accord (90-93) which i believe is the F22A, and the 5th Gen Accord (94-97) is the F22B. the number 4 in H22A4 stands for the north american market, there are various numbers, for every different conutry
