holy ******* ****, it seems like u did everything wrong. lemme guess...1st time at the track, u bogged off the line and mishifted 3-4th, got scared and shut down? your car should easily be running low 15s high 14s. i hit 15.4 in a stock ex with a aem v2

Not to sound like an ***, but damn, my dead grandmother has better reaction times. Hopefully it's nothing a little practice won't fix.
Put some sticky tires on it, gut it, and learn to drive it.

yep like said before.. practice your launches....a 2.8 60ft is horrible.....and your reaction isnt that bad if its a .500 setup... but if its a .000 then thats bad... go when the third yellow lights up... that will give you some nice R/T's
Your 1/4 MPH is less than your 1/8th mph. You let off before the end. That and your launch needs work.
And if one more person says something about the damn reaction time...
For the last time, it doesn't effect your ET! It's test and tune not a bracket race.

did you slow down???
what were your tire pressure's like? bring them down to about 25psi or so next time if you didn't change them ( just be sure you have a way of bringing them back up after you're done

just curious, how come your 1/8 mile speed and your 1/4 speed were the same. do you have your speed govenor set for 68mph or did you screw up? also I ran a 10.9 in the 1/8 but I'm just running a single cam vtec in a 95 hatch. but I was running on 16" enkei wheels with toyo proxes. the whole car is completely stock other than the vtec head that was swapped on there.
Jason's problem is that he ran a bad fuel / ign. maps... Hes running a untuned uberdata FMS, last I talked to him. Plus, it was his first time at the track and he was scared of making an *** of himself...
I think with some tuning and pratices he could hit low 15's to high 14's.
Jason come back to shreveport and I will school you on the art of screwing up at the track ;-)

he must not have been too scared he went ahead and did it anyways. J/K. I remember my first time going to the track I was scared of screwing something up. my parents aren't the most leanient people when it comes to me scewing somthing up and they end up having to pay for it. hahha. just get some more track time. you'll get better and atleast you're having fun.
Where do they have a 1/4 mile strip...you traveling to Rogersville? Thought that I was the only one near Harrison that liked imports...go by and tell Ron at Honda tech, that Jim said hi.
Practice your launch and reaction time. Some nitton 555r's will help you get down your 60 ft time. Did you miss a shift? just practice, practice, practice, you should be alot faster than that. Good luck
i have relatively the same setup in addition to cams and springs but when i ran it with just what you have i ran a 14.9 ...... if you have any back roads practice feathering your clutch .... yes it will wear it out faster but racing is expensive so be prepared to spend money ..... also the rt isnt really that big of a deal unless you know how to deep stage or shallow stage..... rt does not do anything except tell you when the clock started on the actual ET...... so totaly ignore your RT its just a waste of time...... the main thing is the 60 foot and smooth shifting ... if you shift rough the car will shutter causing a jerk and a slight decel.... which is not what you want....
I havent raced that much but i try to pay as much attention to detail as possible.... hope this helped... also dont worry about stickies yet.... you dont want to touch them till you learn how to launch (im in the process of teaching my gf right now lol it takes alot of time) you will never be perfect but the object is to get as close as possible.....
Good luck my friend and keep trying
