Would anyone pay...
Would anyone pay 22000 for an 01 Black Type R with 28k miles?
I'm thinking about selling because I have a baby on the way. The payments are just too much. The car is stock but lowered on H&R Sport Spring and Tokiko Shocks. XM has been installed along with an alarm. The car is in great shape and has little fading on the rear seats. I'm looking to make a decision very soon, so please let me know what you think.

just curious dude but do you trust this Biatch, the baby might not even be yours and then there you go selling your car, next week you will be on here talking about hanging yourself and I will be able to say I told you so. Man all i gotta say is what till that biatch pops gets you a DNA test and make sure it is of your seed and not your greasy *** mailmans, I would hate to see a ***** lose his car because his ***** went and got knocked up by some greasy *** mail man. SO just hold off wait for the test dude and then see if the biatch is even worth keeping around, DONT LET THIS BE YOU
You might want to post this is the ITR section, first off there are guys in there allways look for an ITR and they will have a better idea of what to ask. Hell they might even know of someone looking to pick up an Rrrrr
I wouldn't pay close to that.
Sorry, I'm sure the car is nice but it's 4years old.
EDIT: Kelly Blue Book for 01 ITR w/ 28k, Suggested RETAIL value = $17,195
So since it is a special car and all, you could probably get a little more, but I doubt 5k more.

Being reasonable I would expect to pay about 18k for it. You may be able to pull 20k out of it assuming it's in particularly good shape and you're willing to sit on it for a while, but 18k is reasonable.
PS: lickmynuts, I just quoted you.

Here in NZ I can get a 2001 ITR with 20,000 mi on the clock, and going for $US16,500 (approx equivalent to $NZ23,000). Imaculate cond, 6 disk cd/minidisk player, 17 alloys and Brembo brakes.

Okay, well first off, I know the baby is mine, because she is my wife, and I don't appreciate assuming that she is a *****. Second I owe 21,500 and so I want to get that if I could, but I do have a little while to sell it because the baby isn't due till July. I would like to get this lease deal through Toyota but I'm not sure how long it will be going on for. GSRerr If I could I'd let it go for less but I have to pay off my loan. thanks for looking.

ya but ppl arent going to take responsibility for your loan. its a car and u gotta live with the fact that its an investment that is gonna depreciate. i would think anything over $18g for an 01 R is too much. for your price, you could get a brand new srt4 (that would murder any stock type r), or put some more and get a 6spd type-s. enough rambling, good luck with the sale

why the hell would you put yourself on lease a few months after u purchased the car. you are going to be upside down on your loan. you can't do any car swapping like that unless.... 1. you are a baller 2. you like losing money
