Default my lip don't fit

bought a 92-95 civic lip for my del sol. it's off by an inch... plastic. what to i do now?

ok be specific now.... which style?? For instance my mugen copy made for a 92-95 civic coupe, did not fit my 94 coupe. It was an inch short on both sides. Im having it trimmed etc to make it fit correctly.

I had one before it looked like it was going to fit like ****. Ive heard of people heating them up and stretching them.

You could cut it in half... add some fiberglass to make it wider, then sand and smooth.

P.S. (talking about your sig) Dont always try to outrun the Police.... some of us drive quick cars too hehe.

try fitting it starting from the passenger side going to driver side.

my mugen replica doesn't fit very well coming from the driver side and looks to be 1" short, but alas, when i placed the passenger side first then driver, it fits!! although a bit tight..buy yeah i like em tite

well see what happens tomorrow. i don't really want to cut and fiberglass. i'll tryr my heat gun first. then if worse comes to worse, i'll seperate it.

well if it's an inch too short, i don't think heating it will help much. heating it really only helps if it's molded funny. it's worth a try though.

i never even tried to do that, all the lips i found for my del sol suck, so what other honda body style after market lips fit a del sol??? maybe i can finally find a nice one???

i have a 92-95 ex OEM lip on my sol and i think it looks nice and clean.very stock.
i think AZNTAGGER has a nice sol also....his is the 99 si front lip looks very clean also. you might wanna try these instead of those other ricey ebay *****. OEM is the way to go.

i gota 00 coupe, i also have a type R lip and when we went to put mine on it also didnt fit. it actually cracked on the ends. so we had to fill it with fiberglass and after paint u cant even tell.
