Default FOR ANYONE THAT HAS USED THE OBD CONVERSION HARNESS

Ok I bought one of your obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harnesses and I got the ECU side of it plugged in. My only ? now is where do I plug in the pigtail wires? Anyone have a diagram or anything I can use? I want a diagram specifically from anyone that has done this conversion with this harness ONLY. I have searched everywhere cannot find it. here is my setup:
-92-95 JDM D15B VTEC
-OBD1 dizzy
-P08 ECU

genius
There were directions that came with it.. What happened to them.
I'll scan them and send them to your email if you lost them.

You plug the pigtail into the harness, the other wires you solder to their respective wires in the engine bay. Such as the 4-wire O2 wires, the VTEC wiring ... ETC

There should be instructions... Mine came with instructions... I also bought the VTEC subharness tho, so it would be alot easier... Came with all the connectors...

I had no prob with the directions... Even if I didnt get the subharness... They have a color name, and tell u exactly where to wire it...

Brown for o2 heater control, goes to either of the 2 black wires on the o2... Purple goes to the green wire on the o2... Yellow to the left black wire on the o2... Grey to the white wire on the o2... (accounts for all 4 wires on the o2 sensor)

Black to the VTEC solenoid... Green to VTEC pressure switch... Ect... ect... ect...

They are not bullshit. And i have the exact same directions. They make perfect sense if you have any clue atall what you're doing.

I'm guessing you don't have those wires to connect to because you don't have those wires atall. You need a VTEC subharness. Checkout http://www.rywire.com

Sorry if that sounds rude.

ok guys look I keep asking for help I dont have the instructions they are at my house I am not at my house and I have my car apart and I want to get this done I know its prob so simple there are only 12 wires on the dam thing I just need to know where they go if anyone can help that has actually converted from OBD-0 to OBD-1 on this swap. I know where 3 of them go: oil pressure sensor (VTEC) and VTEC activation wire the other 9 wires I have no clue. Please do not post anymore unless you are going to help because this is really frustrating when everyone keeps saying o this is easy yet has no clue how to do it nor do they even bother posting how to do it.

ok I am still stuck. I cut the wires to the injector resistor box AFTER the green plug and BEFORE the box itself. I took these 5 wires, stripped them, then twisted them together and taped them up w electrical tape. I have the P08 ECU plugged in using the conversion harness. I wired the dizzy. however I have none of the pigtail wires hooked in because the only ones I am using are for VTEC anyways. None of the other ones will used. I tried to start the car but it just cranks and nothing happens. No start up. This sucks. Any ideas?

Just take it to a shop to have it done.. It sounds like you have no idea what you are doing. Stop before you screw it all up. Try searching the site.. there is ALOT of info on this subject and if you where to just SEARCH you would find what you are looking for.. search under the Archived section as well..

For starters, get some crimps atleast for the injector wires! Tape will not be nearly enough! I suggest solder tho... Tape will work for now, but get something else ASAP!

As for the rest of it, you have to wire the 02 sensor... Since your using the P08 u can use either the 1 wire o2, or the 4 wire, since u have a d15b, it should be a 1 wire o2, which I *think* u use the yellow wire (12volts) on your pigback adapter and connect it to that... Then it should start up... I dont think it will start without an o2 hooked up... But I could be wrong...

As for any other wires, the blue and orange wires should be ran to a switch that u must flip on ONLY when you want to read check engine light (CEL) codes... But in the mean time, u can splice them together and check the codes, as the code will probably help u get your engine running...

i told him to do that to get it started. JUST to get it started.
He needs an injector block off plug from http://www.rywire.com
(which he will buy since i gave him free tech support) LOL
It should start without an O2.

edit: And for the record, hes not actually using a JKOBD harness. Nothing matched the directions i sent him. Not ours

dude I have everyting plugged except for the VTEC wires. I am so close I am pretty positive I can do it, my friend and I dropped the motor in ourselves no shop and it ran fine OBD-0 now that I am hooking it up OBD-1 it wont start. I wired the dizzy. I plugged the ECU in. I havent wired the 02 sensor yet but I think it would still start even if that wasnt plugged in though. I dont know what it could be. I give up.

It should run fine without VTEC... And NikoZai says itll run without o2, so its gotta be the injectors or the dizzy wiring... Did u change the injectors to the OBD1 ones? Or did u just leave the OBD0 ones in there?

Edit: Someone correct me if Im wrong, but my understanding is, u can use the OBD0 injectors if u use the resistor box... But if u dont (which u said u just cut it off) u have to use the OBD1 injectors... (tho this may only be on the P28 ECU)

no, I am running the OBD-1 injectors and I cut off the injector resistor box as close as I could to actual box then twisted all 5 wires together and taped them up really good. Other than that, I dont know what else it could be I am so stumped and tired right now.......
