my car would start to stuter and almost die when you were cruisin at an rpm when it was cold. well today on my way to work i was at a stop sign and it died. it is not a broken timing belt, i put new plugs in it and checked the coil does anyone else have any ideas please help.

 

sounds like a fuel problem....maybe one of the injectors are clogged...but hell what do i know!

 

gettin lots of fuel and died right away so i dont think its an ingector. i think it might be ignition control module.

 

is there a cel? if your timing belt was broke your car wouldnt even run.

 

car doesnt run it died at stop sign and wont run anymore.

 

Are you getting spark?

You mentioned you recently changed the coil and spark plugs, yes, it could be the ICM or ignitor causing problems. Did you move the set timing of the distributor when you removed it to put the coil in?

if it was the ignitor wouldnt the rpm tach be all fucked up.....??
