Default 90 prelude si motor

i want to toss in a b20 a5 motor from a 90 prelude si into my 91 crx. right now it has a d15 block with an d16 si non vtec head. si intake manifold, jdm zc throttle body, si tranny, cam gear under tow pully. the set up right now is pretty good. in fact its really good. and most of the motor parts are from an si motor, but the block is still a d15. the thing i wanna know is if that B20 will fit?

You do NOT want that b20. You want the one out of a CRV.

i really would like a b18c5 GSR, but that motor is going to cost me a good 35 hundred, and the prelude is going to cost me $450. the only reason the whole car is so cheap is because the tranny is trashed. so if i do get that b20 i would need a tranny for it, but i dont know what kinda...would it be the kinda from an integra?

The b20 you have will not drop into the crx without fabrication work and welding. It is the bastard child of the b series family.

You can ge tthe b20 you need for around 700 then you have to get mounts, tranny, axles, and some other parts depending on if you are going OBD1 or OBD2. Go do some research on swaps for a EF. There is plenty of info out there on the subject.

Um...b18c is a jdm integra motor that can either be a gsr or itr. b18c1 is a usdm gsr motor. b18c5 is a usdm itr motor.
