Okay, I know there's a difference between how they look.. but what I wanted to know (searched and couldn't find any threads on it, apologize if I didn't look hard enough) was if they lighted up different... ex. parking light, brake light... etc... thanks

 

i think the jdm ones don't have the reflectors in them, which is why they are not DOT approved. correct me if i'm wrong

no they donnt like up different im not 100% sure but i belive like stated earlier i think they just have a reflector on them.

yes JDM tails are a waste of money. But you dont care cuz your already on the bandwagon.

 

I have those JDM ones on my stock civic. It came with them and I now that nobody has ever changed them. Does it have something to do with being made in Canada? I don't know, just wondering.

Almost all of the USDM civics are made in Canada.

 

Oh. Sorry about the newb question. Just wondering why mine has the JDM tail lights. I bought the car off of the orignal owner (family friend) and they never did anything to it.

Hold on now. Its not liking JDM that makes you a bandwagon jumper. and as far as body kits.... its cool if you are getting a body kit but the EG+ forum is not the place to talk about it, hence the flaming. Do you think you would get flamed for having a body kit in A/C? no you wouldnt and why not because it belongs there.
I think they should make a M@d T!te JDM y0! forum so that things could clean up here in the EG forum. Just my 2 cents

I have JDM EG tail lights. Everything is the same for lighting up except there's no corner parking light bulb. Just the two red panels light up instead of three.

 

OH gosh, please just shut up. You shouldn't even care, you maybe have a honda or acura that you do things to because you want to. Because you want to and because you pay for it. and my simple question was if they "lighted" up different .... i already knew the difference in appearance was the reflector... but thanks anyways guys....

 

i have jdm tail lights on my eh2 .. the bulbs on the reflector don't light up on the jdm version .. the lights look slightly .. and i mean very slightly more darker .. the back up light is really noticeable .. and no reflectors .. but that's it .. i got mine for $50 shipped (inner and outer) .. i wouldn't pay any more than $80 for it .. that's my opinion ..
