I have a 94 integra LS with 130000 miles on it.. since i bought it, about a year ago, it has had this problem. When my car is idling, the car feels like it is going to die. the rpm used drop and kind of jump up and down. I just recently replaced the fuel pump, and since, the idle remains constant now. The fuel filter has been replaced too. Yet, the car still trembles at idle, but not all the time. Some tests were run and my car is running lean. What the hell is wrong?

 

have you checked your vaccum lines?

 

what about cleaning the ICV? that might help as well, look into both of these.

 

PCV valve. it is cheap to replace. Also new plugs wires cap and rotor will help.

 

it is not vaccuum lines..

 

Check the ICV and try cleaning it or you will need a new one. There is a way to check to see if the ohms reads I think 0.4 to ensure it is good.

distributor contacts? rotor?
