Im thinking about putting an SI or Type R cd player into my eg i was wondering if anyone else has done this. I wanna see some pics

Well, I know the harness doesnt directly plug in so youll have to hardwire some stuff, nothing hard though.

did it in my 96-98 civic...
as far as i know you have to get a 99 harness to plug into the raidio then just hardwire the rest... its actually pretty simple...

i dont steal how would u like it if some1 stole ur ****

and it was just a simple question b/c u cant get them at a audio store its a part of the cars harness that has to be cut

i got my STOCK 1999 CIVIC SI OEM HONDA CD PLAYER harness from a shop. some places do carry them.

i got mine from my freind that works at a local all import yard.. just vut it off a salvaged 4 dr. ex, and it plugges right up

they both glow amber, plays cds and radio. so u should get an ITR one cuz it plugs and plays into your stock eg harness.

the ITR one's are quite pricey, so are the SI' ones, if you want to save money you could always get the honda prelude 97+ model cd players, they will plug up to your stock harness (or should, on integras anyways) and they glow amber, plays cd. But i just ordered a harness from here.. http://www.x10.com/electronics...b0fad it's a reverse harness for (si, s2000) =same cd player.

thats funny, i have that same little motor, its from an Integra Type r car model kit. mine ended up looking like **** so i salvaged the motor

on my radio i had a stock harness in the back of the radio so i bought a aftermarket jumper and hardwire it to the jumper and then plugged it in to the dash harness so i didn't have to cut the stock harness in the actual car.
