Default B18A block with GSR rotating assembly?

Okay, I already searched.

I'd like to know how GSR internals would work inside a B18A block, I've been thinking about building a GSR block for the future (Poor man's R build...), but then I started to think about running a GSR crank w/ rods/girdle in my LS block. How would that work, and how would it effect the compression ratio?

All your numbers would be the same as a gsr (comp. ratio, displacement). The only difference is the need for external oil line and no squirters.

No need for external oil line? I'm talking about using the GSR internals, in the LS block.

'00 Si head, but i'll still be running the non VTEC block if I choose to put the GSR internals in my B18A, instead of buying a GSR block.

you should still need a oil line to actuate the vtec.

all he is saying is that you will still need the oil line from the ls block to the vtec head.
