Default best pistons for a future all motor LS?

hey wasup, i have a 94 integra rs, and i was planning on getting a set of cams, titanium retainers, and dual valve springs, and i wanna get the crower 404 cams for my car, buti just read another post that you can change your pistons and rings, rod bearings without pulling the whole motor out of the car??? that is awsome, but does anyone have an idea what the best, high compression pistons would be for my car?, and would my car run fine with just replacing the pistons and rings, because it wont be getting machined at all??? someone please let me know what my best setup would be though, my plan is to be able to rev my car and still have power at 8k, or maybe 9k????? haha, thanks in advance

As 97blackteg >> He's got a sweet NA LS.

I think he's running TypeR pistons.

i did this same post on honda-acura.net, and some guy said another guy did an all motor b18b, and only got 140 hp at the wheels, his all motor, must not have been much of a motor in the first place if thats all he came out with, haha
anyone know how big of a pain in the *** it is to put in new pistons with out pulling the motor?? should i get new connecting rods too??, and someone said if i get new rings, ill have to get the cylinder honed, but does that mean i shoul use the rings that are in my car right now??? wouldnt they be all wore out wwith 120,000 miles on em??? what is the compression on the type-r pistons, and will they work good???

with itr pistons, i am told you will burn oil since they are slightly smaller.
with the 62404's you want compression. i would go with an 11.5:1 or 12:1 from JE as my first choice. Springs and retainers are definatly needed. A p&p job, stage 3, should be helpful as well. A 3 angle valve job with oversized ss valves (ferrea is what i'm running) would help greatly. You should also get a SAFC to help with your fuel curve... you will need some tuning on a dyno for optimal performance. get your ecu chipped to get rid of your redline, or at least have it raised to 8,500 or so. i don't know much about rods or any of that... but i know i'm getting eagle rods... they are good. and it is my understanding that you should replace your rings when you do your pistons.

Oh, and as for an all motor LS putting down 140.... not much done their. I'd guess he's running stock cams and valvetrain... maybe high comp pistons, but he couldn't have done much to get 140. you would be laying down 180ish with all that done to your car owuld be my guess.
