Default What Pistons for LS motor???

I just got in on those eagle rods and now I wanted to know what pistons I should use for my turbo LS motor... I was told that JE doesn't make pistons for it unless you get them custom and I could get SRP's but haven't heard anything good about them....I wanted to keep the compression stock...so which pistons are recommended by those with LS-turboed cars

if you can wait just ask JE to make you a set and copy the dimensional specs from the SRP's, just keep in mind that the JE alloy expands at a different rate.
for street go 9.0 for race only 8.5:1

If you need SRPs pistons I have a set I just took out of my motor today. They were used for aroud 6K miles and they seem to hold up well. I boosted 22psi with no problems. If your interested or need more info give me a shout at Boosted3gaol.com. First 100 bucks takes them

They are the standard 81mm size. I now have a 84.5mm bore so these are no use to me. Other than the fact that they are dirty and have a few small scratches on the sides they are fine. I will also include the wrist pins and spiral locks with them. Also they are 9.2:1 compresssion ratio.

So how much boost can the SRP pistons 9-2-1 handle ....I've heard that no more than 15lbs is recommended but then I've also heard as much as you want pretty much as long as its tuned properly..
