You can use aircraft cables. drill two holes somewhere on the shock tower. run the cable under the strut through the holes and strap it down as tight as u can. try to drill the holes as straight up as possible from the strut

i can start to make them from mild steel stuff and cheap *** bolts and use 1ply straps and drop the price dramatically but if u break that chesap **** not my problem
i like to use all top notch stuff if 139 bucks is too much damn what you guys run for other suspension parts
YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET

I've always wondered about limit straps, although I haven't tried them out yet. Here's the question:
It seems that the concept is to keep the wheels from moving up when the front of the car lifts (due to weight transfer to the rear).
But, why wouldn't the weight transfer to the rear cause the front end to use the limit straps to lift the slicks upwards? The front suspension is going to be less massive than the front end of the car or the entire car itself... it seems to me that the weight transfer of the car could possibly be enough to lift the slicks up instead of having the slicks/wheels keep the front-end of the car down.
Has anyone done any limit-strap testing (i.e., make some passes, install some straps with no other changes and make some more passes)?

I am not really a fan of limit straps. Set the suspension up correctly and you shouldn't need them. For some people they work. As far as them pulling the front tires off the ground sure it's possible but I doubt it is happening w/ a 1000lb spring out back.

I think the straps are over rated. I tried them no success, friends T4 car tried them with not the greatest results. Way over rated IMO, and not worth the hassle.

When preloading the straps it all depends on the track and setup of the car. There is no set preload that works best. It is all trial and error. A general guideline I use is to slightly compress the suspension and strap it up. This is the setting that yields the best results for me.
Karterguy13 you have PM. I have some straps in stock that you may be interested in.

I don't really have any pics that really show it......but here is two of how it attaches to the lower control arm...
at the top I drilled a hole through the frame rail and inserted a piece of tubing and welded it to the frame on both sides.....
I use a Grade 8 bolt with washers to attach the top of the strap tot he frame of the car.
the bottom of the strap is then attached to the lower control arm....
we are using premade limit straps that are used for other applications like Baja and such.....If I can I will try and get some better pics.

Bick02 I never said your stuff wasn't good quality. I'm sure its A+++++++ quality. I just can't afford $140.00 for something I can make.
Redzones setup looks good. That car has seen a billion races ans it is still working. They do good work. Brandon and Jeremy take there time and work things out to where it's the best. That traction bar on there car is awsome 2 (they made it).
