ive got a 92 civic VX that is already wired for vtec. I'm new to the whole engine swap thing and i bought a B16a2 block and a 1994 GSR head and i really didnt know what i was getting into. The block has none of the sensors in it and neither does the head. i just wanted to know if the car would run with out these i know the check engine light would be on but i could deal with that. also what sensors are in these blocks and heads.

 

it would run like **** and without no knock sensor thats bad for the engine

 

sounds like your in for a whole new ball game. b series in a civic are the easiest. you should have tried a h22
