92 vx wit gsr in it...do i need to change the fuel pump...
just swapped in a gsr in my vx and it's throwing no codes but when i start off i feel the power but than like 6 grand in 2nd gear it dies down is it because i'm using my stock vx pump??? should i change, anybody have this problem cause i kno vx pumps are for saving gas....
yea i hooked up butterflys and just welded a o2 to the exhaust pipe cause i didn't find a gsr mani wit the o2 hole in it...so i made a hole and welded it in...it's throwing no codes...my friend has a 95 gsr in a vx and for some reason first gear is quicker...even he drove it and he said it felt quicker i don't get it...maybe i need to change spark plugs and wires...maybe 96 motors slower i don't get it....
I just read an article in a magazine where someone who wrote in said he had a 95 Civic hatch w' a GSR swap and that during hard acceleration his fuel pressure would drop from 48PSI to 26PSI. They recommended he get the Walbro 255GPH kit. But I would definatly look at changing your spark plugs and wires if you haven't already. I have a 96 GSR motor going into my 97 DX and i'm just doing everything now. (spark plugs, water pump , timing belt, cam seals, valve adjustment, etc.)
