i need to reset my radio code Help!!!
ok so my battrey died so i replaced it nice and simple right, but now my radio is asking fo a code for it to work... its a 2000 gsr and it is a stock deck. i am not the original owner so i have no idea what the code is, so is there any one out there that could help me fix this with out having to go to the dealership to get it reset and pay them too much money.

Its different for each car. Check your passenger side underneath the dash thingy. There should be a serial # or something and you're suppose to give that to the dealership to find the code for it. Another way is that when they assemble the car with the audio, they actually write the code down on it. So if you remove cd player, there should be the code on it. But its not always 100%
just stick your head down the passenger side, behind where the radio is. Get a light and copy down all the numbers you see. Take it to acura, let them know you need the code, and wala. free. My dealership actually got the code for mua.
