when i shift into R, my car rocks back as if it's ruff, got a Q bout seafoam
I drive a 97 accord EX 4 cyl with 72k
1.
When I shift into R my car rocks back as if it's shifting ruff (on flat surface). Anybody know if it's normal or if something is wrong with the tranny.
2.
I got some seafoam and I sucked some up in the vacuum hose and put the rest into the gas tank. My tank is almost empty. I plan to put another bottle of sea foam in my tank with a full tank of gas as well. After that tank is almost empty I will change the oil.
Is it a good idea to do this treatment twice back to back? or should I save the next bottle for next year? I heard this would make my **** clean. are there any side effects to using this stuff?

The rocking is probably a sign of a worn motor mount, or high idle speed... I get a very slight rock when shifting into reverse, but I don't think much of it.
I'm not aware of any side effects of using seafoam (besides the temporary smoke and fumes). When you poured the rest of it into the gas tank, were you already almost on empty? You really want to add it to a full tank, so if that's the case, yeah, go ahead and add it to the next tank. If you originally added it to, say, half a tank or more, than just wait until later on to use it again.

i saw some seafoam transmission treatment at carquest along with the engine treatment. who knows, maybe the seafoam works for transmissions too.
