Default weird t25 turbine housing(56k beware)

ok, i got this turbo off ebay, it's supposed to be a garrett t25. the inlet flange, and all the flanges on the compressor look like a normal t25, but it doesn't have a standard 5 bolt discharge flange. instead, it's got a 4-bolt flange that's shaped like the 5-bolt, only minus a bolt. if it helps at all, on the compressor it says m24 a/r .48, which i'm assuming to be a .48/.49 t25.

what did this turbo originally come off of? i've never seen that discharge flange before.
will i still be able to use a normal t25 downpipe flange with it?
if not, will i be able to swap out with a normal housing with the 5-bolt discharge? and where could i find one of these?
Here's some pics in case they help:

i thought it was from the sr20, but it's certainly not a standard discharge. it's definitely not dsm tho. dsm's have a rounded inlet flange and a much different discharge flange.

That is a T25G

Comes stock on a Nissan SR20DET

You will need a nissan style t25 flange - HKS makes manifolds for it.

i know what the inlet flange is, i need to know what's up with the discharge. the downpipe flange that normally comes on sr20det's is a 5 bolt flange, this has a four bolt, and i've never seen that before.

I see what you're talking about. . . yeah they are usually 5 bolt hot sides. I'm looking into it. . . baffled right now.

Is this the same bolt pattern?

Found at http://www.jblmk3.com/id114.htm

Leaving work or I'd look into it more - be home in an hour

that's very close, bolt are closer together on the right side tho, and there's a rounded section in between the bolts on the left side

yeah, just found this earlier today. next to the inlet flange it says .54(i'm assuming this is the a/r) with "H1" written beneath it. by the discharge flange it says 686 13T Garrett 272-1

btw, thank you DragSource and everyone else trying to help.

yeah, downpipe i already planned on fabbing. hoping to just find a replacement t25 housing with the 5 bolt discharge, as i will eventually replace this with a gt28rs and it would be nice to make it a bolt-on replacement.

Definitely not an SR20DET T25, as those have 0.80 A/R compressor housings and 5 bolt turbine exits.

Looks like either a Z32 300ZX T25 or Skyline RB26 T28 to me - from the looks of it it looks like a 300ZX T25. Max out around 175-200whp(smaller than an SR T25 that will max out around 240-270whp).

That's a stock turbo from a 90-96 300zx (minus actuator).

You can get a nice split downpipe for it from this place:

http://www.specialtyz.com/downpipes.htm

However, I'm not sure about clearance for whatever you're using it for... You'd also have to ask them if they could only sell you 1 downpipe (they are normally sold in pairs).

thanks, Def and degradated, that's some helpful info. at least now i know it's usdm, i'll go to the nissan dealership and get a gasket for it and have a flange made. guess i'll just hafta chop it off later when i upgrade.

edit: eh, on second thought, i'll just ebay it. too much effort.

yep he is right. go to the nissan dealer, thats one of the turbos i sold before who knows if its the same exact one lol. but a little more info its a pretty small turbo its one of the turbos from the twin turbo so you ll probably spool up at 2000rpm, will be a fun daily driver but dont expect anything after 5800 rpm.
