Default Quick Block ??????????

Ok i have a 2000 Si which i know is a B16A2 it has been burrning oil lately but never mind that

I just found a Jdm B16A block how much of a pain in the *** will it be to swap in this block.
I have been planing on a build up anyways so I will be plaining on doing some work to the block anyways

Im just wondering how hard this will be I have head of the headachs people have with different OBD cars

Going from B16a2 to B16a is not an upgrade in my book. Its only a replacement. Just take out the b16a2 you have now and build it. No point in getting rid of a block only cuz it burns oil. Rebuild it, pistons, rods, porting, all new seals etc. Or just buy a GSR shortblock, slap on the Si head and call it a day. You'll de happier with GSR over Si, anyday!!!

I second that. If it's out then rebuild. No piont in cutting corners or taking the cheap easy route. Go with the rebuild. You will be happy with your choice later on.

have for thinking the block is an upgrade i dont
I just dont have the means to have my car down for a long time.
This block was a good price and can then build it and then just drop it in with as little down time as possible.
