Default 90'civic mods

okay,this may sound alittle dumb.but i got a nice clean 90 civic hatch dx 5spd dpfi. im going to be fixing up the outside and inside with some jdm goodies. but i dont wanna do a swap until a while. like whenever im done with the cosmetic stuff. what can i do to give my dx some more powere without it blowing up??? keep in mind that it is a dpfi dx. let me know. i would greatly appreciate it

unfortunately you answered your own question...a swap. Maybe short ram intake but I wouldn't spend anymore money that that.

the DPFI just sucks, I know cause I have 3, swap is going in

i dont have alot of cash for a swap and dont feel like doing the dpfi to mpfi conversion at the time

The dpfi d15b2 will not gain much from bolt ons. You will either need to swap or do an mpfi conversion to see any power gains.

either swap a b18 or swap a d16 vtec head, d16 will be cheapest and leave many options for later on because you have mpfi..
