Spoon Clapper rebuild kit
I posted the same topic a while ago, but never really found any info. Have you guys heard of any re-build kit for them? Can you buy the same diameter seals from Honda?
I've never taken the spoon calipers apart, but if they are like multi piston bike calipers, then there should just be some o-rings to replace. Try pulling out one of the pistons and look at the o-ring. If they are the round style, they'll be easy to replace. Howerver, if they are the square kind, which most high end calipers are, then they'll be a little harder to find. I'm sure you could call an o-ring supply house (if there is such a thing) and find some that fit.
Why do you need a rebuild? Got some leaks?

Ehh... eventually those calipers are gonna need a re-build just want to get a kit or some new seals if it does ever go back one of these days. Spoon makes some pretty cool ****, however it's made to be rebuilt or used once!
just to add to this, although i don't own a set, i did email opak racing a while back asking this very question. i got an initial response saying that yes they do - not much more than that. i replied asking them if there is a particular kit that spoon stocks or that opak might stock or any kit or recommended parts for that matter. i didn't get an email response after that.
one of the reasons why i'm reluctant to get a set. :shrugs:
kepani-who's brakes need some bleeding soon...

Yeah that is what I would think...
As for them going bad/leaking. I've had mine on my car for over 3 years now with a few track days and some CCX pads for daily driving and I haven't had any leaks at all. I've even grinded on them so they wouldn't hit a set of rims

Seals go bad. Maybe not so much on a show car/garage queen, but those who actually abuse their brakes say... on a track, might have to worry about this.
Chris - who was considering trading for a well known set
of spoon klappers and was very concerned about a rebuild kit... but not anymore.

Best brakes IMO...especially if you can get them used for a deal.....
No extra brackets to worry about, excellent fitment, uses OEM ITR sized brake pads, it's designed with your Honda in mind....
Everything you really need to hit the track in confidence with....plus look pretty good doing it too
