Go with a Helms manual, they are by far the best.
93 DX should have rear drum brakes which can be a tad tricky if you are new to things. But best bet is to get a Helms.

Dont waste your money on HAYNE's. Helms is far more useful, it written by the factory for the love of all things holy get the Helms.

Helms > Haynes > chiltons
at least that's how it is for me.
******* chiltons covers like 30 different cars. The haynes focuses just on b or d series civics and sols from a much smaller year range. Hell the chiltons had carbuerated CRXs with drum brakes and ****. Not like it's all that hard to sift through it, i just feel better about the haynes.

I keep a helms at home and a chiltons/haynes in the car.
BTW Haynes and Chiltons books are published by the same company.

Good point, i noticed some of the pics in my chiltons book said "haynes" underneath. I just like the detail to specific vehicles/engines better with the haynes *shrug*
