Best Value Brake Pads and Rotors for GSR?
I need some sources and prices.
Which brake pads and rotors are the best value for use in a daily driver?
Who have you bought from and how much? Were they good to deal with?
Looking for the best value for the money and to save over OEM parts cost.
Also, would I have to bleed my brakes if I install new pads and rotors?
If my ABS modulator is not working properly, will I have trouble with this install?
Thanks for any help.

From searching the board and a few suggestions from others, i bought brembo oe rotors (front) and hawk hps pads from collettimotorsports.com. $28 per rotor (2) and $60 for pads plus $25 shipping = $141. People there were friendly and package came within a reasonable time.
You got it, Mt3c. Call Colletti and get some Brembo rotors and choose your own pads for your needs. OEM Honda works fine for me, but I don't AutoX, drag, etc.
AEM makes some good pads I've heard too.
My four new Brembos were $139 shipped I believe.

EBC pads aren't anything I'd suggest, from one who just wore out a set in 3K miles w/o going racing. Rotors are junk now.
They had indicators, but I couldn't tell those from the ordinary squeal and grind they made.

Do I have to bleed the brakes when I install the new pads and rotors?
Can you guys tell me exactly what tools and parts I will/might need when I do the install?
Thanks in advance.

You don't have to bleed the lines when replacing rotors/pads, but it's not a bad idea.
To get the rotors off, you'll need an impact hammer and/or a drill. When I did mine, I just drilled the retaining screws out - I didn't even bother trying to remove them with the impact hammer.
A set of metric wrenches and a metric socket set is more than enough to do the job. You'll also need a C-clamp to push the piston back in the caliper.

Has anyone ever tried "Frozen Rotors" at http://www.frozenrotors.com ?
They are "cryogenically treated" whatever that means... supposed to be real good form what i hear
I will be going with slotted brembo's or power slot rotors and Axxis Metal Master pads... seems to be a good setup from what I've heard. (i think that spelling is correct, but i dunno)

Don't get talked into drilled/slotted rotors! For a daily driver, plain pl' Brembo blanks will provide better stopping power for less $$$. Also for daily driving, OEM pads should be fine.
I agree... the only reason I am going to an upgraded brake is bc I am going to start getting more involved in the auto-x scene. OEM is by far the best setup for 90% of us. The brembo blanks are great as well, that's what i'm running now and i'm very happy.
The SS braided brake lines were my favorite brake upgrade... do that before you waste money on high performance pads and so forth... they are a great upgrade.
