Default New Pics! Apexi N1 on DC5 & IS200

Hi all, someone asked if i could take some pics of my friends DC5 with the Apexi N1 N/A Universal muffler. Well.. here they are, also... Apexi N1 Turbo on a IS200.

DC5 ITR (AUS Spec)

The owner of the car was suppose to get the Turbo N1 but they ran out of stock. So he couldn't wait and took the N/A. It would probably look alot better with the turbo N1, cause it's much bigger.

Two things are stumping me... First, is it me or is that N1 on the R angled wayyyy too much? And second, whats up with that wing on the Yellow R? It looks like one from the DC5..

I think the angle is nice, the can is abit too tiny for the DC5 though.

The wing on the Yellow ITR is the stock ITR wing. Must be the prospective.

yeah dude i agree. I'm a fan of the "angle" style, but thats pretty extreme. its like a 45 degree

Wow, that N1 really is angled. Looks good though and I'm suprised you guys have the IS200. Isn't that engine a bit small over there?

I don't see the reasoning in the angled tip. I was looking at a Prelude that had the N1 exhaust on it, and it had to do a sharp angle to the center of the car, just so they could angle it back to make it come out at an angle, that seems more restrictive to me. Is it that way on all of the N1 exhausts?

As far as I know the Spoon N1 does not do the weird angle thing...

I would rather have an IS200, so I can upgrade the turbo and get lots of TRD goodies.

That N1 looks weird on the RSX. I think a Trust or Tanabe would look better. The IS200 is really clean though.

Stock tip looks much better. That apex is angled too much and the tip is thin. (not talking diameter btw)

Mac: The muffler itself cost $550 AUS. Being a universal N1, it didn't come with a kit. The piping work was all custom from the local exhaust shop. 2.5inch piping with a car sound cat.

We get the IS300 as well i think, but I'm not soo sure about the specs. I would say the IS300 has more power.
